Shows Rheinberg on the river Rhine in 1601 when it was sieged during the Spanish Netherland War between 1592 and 1617 by Moritz von Oranien.

Excellent hand coloring. Very minor traces of age and use. Near excellent condition! Since there is only one such print with Anna Beek's hand coloring, it has museum quality and significance.

Erschienen in einem gebundenen Heft mit dem Titel "Cahier des Anciens Monumens Historiques"

Es wurde in München, 1814 verlegt. Sehr selten!

Inkunabel der Lithographie (die ersten 25 Jahre nach Erfindung der Lithographie durch Alois Senefelder gelten als Wiegendruck-Zeit, also als Druck während der Erprobungsphase dieser damals neuen Drucktechnik. Die Inkunabelzeit der Lithographie begann 1796 und endete am 31. Dezember 1821

R. Arnim Winkler hat ein Werksverzeichnis mit dem Titel "Die Frühzeit der deutschen Lithographie" verfasst. Darin führt er alle lithographischen Wiegendrucke auf, deren er habhaft werden konnte. Der Salvatorberg ist unter der Nummer 130 / 41 auf der Seite 51 aufgeführt und beschrieben.

Der Salvatorberg ist eine Erhebung in Aachen. Der Name entstand nach der im 9. Jahrhundert auf dem Berg errichteten Salvetor-Kapelle und des später auf dem Berg gegründeten Salvator-Klosters in Aachen.

Exzellenter Erhaltungszustand. Links unten im Stein signiert: I. Cogels. Breite, saubere Margen.
