Hunting Dogs All Prints are in Very Good condition unless otherwise noted. The following series of dog prints are "photogravures" printed in color after the original watercolors by P. Mahler. MIMARD & BLACHON, a company focusing on the manufacture of hunting rifles and bicycles published these dogs a collection to be used as a gift to their best customers. The name of the book was "Les Chiens, le Gibier et ses Ennemis" which means: "The Dogs, the Game and their Enemies". By P. Mahler. Published in Saint-Étienne, 1907. Each print is accompanied by a complete description with racial characteristics, etc. on a separate page (tissue paper) in FRENCH! For lack of special knowledge we have chosen to give the dogs their French title. There are numerous more prints of ducks and geese, of boar and stag, of game birds and elk in this collection which are not shown here.
