The following sequence of classically beautiful copper etchings were all prepared with drawings by Giovanni Domenico Campiglia, born in Lucca 1692. His death remains in the dark, probably 1762. Our here offered copper etchings were published in "Museo Fiorentino" ca. 1760 in Rome where Campiglia had been called. Engravers were Pietro Antonio Pazzi, Carlo Gregori and others. The smaller prints are from a collection of charming prints showing an artist on many of the images of mythological themes. Prints are clean and in Very Good condition unless otherwise mentioned.
