Das Blatt ist deshalb mehrfach vertikal und einmal horizontal gefaltet gewesen. Die Marge links unten, die aus buchbinderischen Gründen (zum Zweck der Faltung) bei Drucklegung  ausgespart wurde, wurde ergänzt.

Sehr ordentlich erhaltenes Exemplar der seltenen Ansicht mit nur unbedeutenden Altersspuren in den Margen. In einem Passepartout.

Die Liebig-Fleischextrakt-Werbung, die ja in Gruppen kleinformatiger Sammelbilder herausgegeben wurde, erschien außer in deutscher Sprache auch in italienisch und in französisch. Das auf starkem Papier mit Ölfarben gemalte Thema ãWagner in Triebschen" (Grösse: 38 x 59 cm) gibt Rätsel auf. Könnte es, schon allein wegen seiner grossen Abmessungen, tatsächlich der Entwurf für die italienische Ausgabe der Werbung gewesen sein?

Wagner dirigiert im Treppenhaus seines Hauses in Tribschen eine ziemlich grosse Gruppe (15) von Musikern, die das Siegfried Idyll spielen, während Cosima, den kleinen Siegfried auf den Armen, vor einer Tür steht und lauscht.

Anonyme Lithographie. Aus einem historischen Werk die Nr. 37.

Rudolf von Habsburg kaufte im Jahr 1273 die Stadt Zug in der Schweiz, die vorher in kyburgischem Besitz war.1315 fand die Schlacht am Morgarten zwischen den Habsburger und den Eidgenossen statt. Es gibt nur magere historische Quellen zu dieser Schlacht. Jedoch sollen die Habsburger von den Eidgenossen besiegt worden sein. Zug blieb jedoch weiterhin habsburgisch wurde aber 1352 von den Eidgenossen belagert und wurde in jenem Jahr dem "Bund der Eidgenossen" bei, ohne dass die Habsburger die Hoheit über die Stadt verloren. Erst mit der Verleihung der Reichsfreiheit durch König Sigismund wurde Zug im Jahr 1415 unabhängig. Alle Habsburger Ansprüche erloschen und Zug war endgültig schweizerisch.

Die Lithographie soll womöglich den Besuch König Sigismunds zeigen, der den Bürgern von Zug die Freiheit und den Anschluss an die Eidgenossenschaft bescherte.

This attractive view of Zurich shows the city with the surrounding hills and fields. The Limat river already had two bridges in the 16th Century and is shown with decorative boats. The most important churches and public buildings are shown in location. Notice that Zurich was a walled city. Two spectators in the lower right in contempory dress look at the city. The name of the city is in the upper center, the coat of arms on the left and the title cartouche in the upper right. Verso: Text in Latin.

There is a repaired tear of 1.5 cm in lower margin on the center fold. There are two tiny repair holes near centerfold. Overall condition is otherwise Very good.
